Order Mach -E select in June 2022

I have ordered Mach -E select in June 22. I was told it may take up to 6 months. I signed vehicle purchase agreement and was informed that if price goes up, I will be protected. I haven’t received any order number yet. When I called my sales person, he said everything is in the order no need to worry . However , i have not received an email from ford confirming my order or Order number from dealer

Because ordering for the 2022 Mach-E closed in April. If your dealer told you they ordered you a car, then there are two options. 1) they have a dealer / abandoned order coming in and are giving it to you, or 2) they lied to you.

2023 ordering opens later this summer. Delivery won't be until January most likely, and the tax credit will likely be 1/2 of current levels.

Just noticed you are in Canada. Haven't kept up with the Canadian threads so it's POSSIBLE that the above is slightly different.

I never got an email either but that’s normal if you ordered from dealer. For reference I was also told 6-8 months from may 21 and I just got my VIN last Thursday for premium Awd sr. Just be patient and call customer service for updates or reach out to your dealer. I never got a single email from ford either for my order. Your dealer should have a order number in their system.

Hopefully you got a vin. Call customer service they will confirm it as well !! Customer service told me not my dealer

Finally , I got reply from salesperson. Order number starts with letter and 3 digits. Does it sound right ?

odd, I only have 3 number reference and no letter. Will call the salesperson on Monday and clarify.

I have some friends that ordered in February/March and are picking up their Mach-E this week. Based on this, I would assume that there is a 90-120 day window from order to Delivery.

I ordered around the same time, and was told that there is a price protection but only for the same model year. If my order is pushed into the next model year, then all bets are off. Also, the protection is not 100% guaranteed, and depends on how much Ford Canada rebates them.

I asked sales person to send me an email confirming that I will be protected against future price increase when I place an order. I will cross that bridge when time comes.
I will take my deposit back in worse case scenario because I am not going to pay $3-4k extra for Mache model.
I will just wait for Ioniq 5 as I have placed a deposit for it and in line for it.

The letter is usually the first letter of your first name for example mine was “k” 123

The deposit will only be refundable if you refuse to convert to 2023 keep in mind. I ordered may 21 and I just got my VIN couple weeks ago so far my ETA is October 2022 for reference!
