I had my car fail end of June due to the Power-train/battery issue.
It had to be towed to the dealership. When I called for an appointment my dealer told me they were booking new appointments into August, so not even thinking about starting to install the latest update or even trying to diagnosis the issue.
A few days later I got a call from Ford Roadside assistance saying they wanted to compensate me for the trouble I was having. Was told it was for new or low mileage vehicles.
I have had my car for slightly over a year, and it has been at the dealership for almost half that time. Was rear ended a few weeks after I got it and it was in the shop for a little over 5 months. Now looks like another month or more..so I have only been able to drive it for about half the time I have owned it.
When I asked if they were offering to buy the car they said no, but they did have a buy back program either through Ford or the dealership.
Has anyone tried this????
I am really fed up and am seriously tempted to ditch this car and Ford as a company.
