Wow. Just stopped in to view th' thread. Mine was built, aaaand I've been waiting for th' dealer to call. I have no idea how to get a rail# or where the GT actually is. I don't have a VIN either, even though my car is built and shipped.
I plan to visit my oos dealer next week when I'm in town to see friends. Maybe the GT will be there and I'll drive it home. I'm going to search for how th' sleuths here get so much info about where there car is, I thought I'd just wait until the dealer calls. After reading, I think I am th' only one just waiting.

Did you order at the dealer? The dealer should be able to provide you with the VIN and the 4-digit order #. You can use that to track the vehicle at https://ordertrack.app/ . Ford chat should be able to provide you more precise info.

Yes, I ordered online.
Have an order number, no VIN and a designated dealer that acknowledged the order. They let me know when it was built, and I watch the Ford site where I ordered.

The Vin should be on your order page and at least a few emails from Ford by now.

Yes, you're correct. The Ford website has my VIN today. I did find an overlooked email with a VIN from 7/1. I have a Ford order number, but don't have a 4 digit order number for tracking. Either way, I think my car will arrive this week!

Looks like I just left neenaw Wisconsin according to Norfolk southern. No idea where it’s going haha but I think I it’s on the Canadian national line

Picked mine up this morning... very straight forward delivery process at the dealer, probably the least painful vehicle purchase I ever made. No issues with X-Plan, and got the Ford Options incentives (1.4% APR and $1,000 cash) that were available when I ordered back in February.

So far really enjoying the car, seems well built, good build quality, and its a fun ride (can't imaging anyone needing more power/acceleration). From a wide quality standpoint, initial impression is that it rides extremely well, (didn't seem to notice any excessive bounciness). All in all a good purchase decision (at least based on the first few hours!)

I'll provide some updates once I get some miles under the belt.

Weird! I am headed to BC and it seems that we both took a different route. I went from KC to St Croiz, Minneapolis (July 20) to St Paul, Minnesota (July 20) to Kenmare, North Dakota (July 22) to Weyburn & Caron, Saskatchewan (July 22) and now to Maple Creek, Alberta (July 23).

Unless I was actually travelling between KC and Minneapolis via a route like yours and their tracking was just really delayed when I thought I was just sitting there in KC.

Mine is moving pretty quickly as well. Just going a strange route. I think once it gets out of the main centres it only spends a few hours at the individual stops. Looks like I might get held up in Winnipeg and Saskatoon. I think I might beat my expected delivery date

Just got this satiates off chat. current order status is "In Transit" and has been received at Junction Point (Norfolk Southern Corp ) via railcar # CTTX692516 Kansas City Ja, MO.. looks like it got there on thee 15th. Is this a point now it starts heading east?

Still no movement of my car since the 15th
