Looking for a MME in Sept 2022 in the DFW area. Would love to take over your order if you're canceling. Now that preorders are closed, it's impossible to get one without mark-ups. Thanks in advance.

Thanks so much! I ended up placing an order for a Tesla instead as many of these Ford dealerships are asking for mark ups that I do not feel justified and would rather just pay directly to the Manufacturer.

You can't "take over" an order. Only the original buyer gets that locked in price and offers.

Yes. But keep in mind if you do that, the IRS could challenge your claiming the tax credit.

The vehicles must be acquired for use or lease and not for resale. Additionally, the original use of the vehicle must commence with the taxpayer and the vehicle must be used predominantly in the United States. For purposes of the 30D credit, a vehicle is not considered acquired prior to the time when title to the vehicle passes to the taxpayer under state law.
