If you have your foot on the accelerator even a very little bit in 1PD, it disengages the brakes, and if your foot isn't down far enough to engage the motor, it will roll backward. So when you get to the top of the hill, take your foot fully off the accelerator. (This might not be your issue, but it's something I've definitely found to be true.)

Would like to add my car is a RWD select which was built on 5/23 and delivered on July 28 of this year. Problem occurs in normal mode and 1 pedal driving. Brakes also feel grabby and make brake noises when crawling at low speeds to a stop.

Hey,

So I noticed that when I park my car sometimes it rocks back and forth, and I am not sure why? This is inconsistent but consistent enough for me to notice, so idk if I am doing something to cause this or not, but anyone had this happen?

Also, noticed when I am an going uphill and need to stop, the car rolls backwards a little. I almost hit someone who walked behind my car while I was at a light, and it scared them a bit because they though i did it on purpose. Had to put my foot on the break to stop it because it scared me as well. I have auto-hold on and 1pd as well. Any suggestions on whats going on? Or anyone experience this as well?
Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

Good morning! I can help with this concern on my end, can you send a private message with your VIN and Ford dealer?

Whenever I park on a hill, driveway or any significant slope, the car always engages the parking brake every time. Mine seems very consistent.
:)
My brother-in-law said the same thing. Then he parked in my driveway while we were filming a Ford commercial and the car didn't set the parking brake and it rolled backwards, catching violently on the parking pawl and we all had a good laugh. Then we had to film the shot again. :)

My car engages the parking brake in my driveway about 70% of the time. It isn't consistent. However, I am in the habit of always setting the parking brake manually anyway so it's no big deal these days.
