I'm trying to find the best solution for a mobile charger. The Ford Mobile charger that comes with the car can be plugged into a standard 120V outlet, or 240/50A. However, there is no option to use it with 240/30A receptacles (NEMA 10-30).
As such, I've started looking on Amazon. There seem to be thousands of cheap 220V chargers (such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B929NRLN/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1)
Biggest concern here is with made-up Chinese brands that are swarming Amazon with products like these. It's tough to really gauge the reliability and overall support for such products, as Amazon is plagued with fake review issues. Also, upon digging into many of these EV chargers, many report melted plugs, early failures, etc.
I'm really hoping to find a solid USA-made mobile charger by an established company with good support.
Just not finding any options with a 220V 30A input.
I'd very much appreciate any suggestions you folks can share.
