Hi - do you have any recommendation for a no drill front license place holder that does not interfere with the sensors. I was looking at the https://stonsho.com/front-license-plate-for-2021-2022-ford-mach-e-except-gt-sns279/ and possibly https://www.slybrackets.com/. Car is Mach E premium AWD.

I want to have front plate mounted for the most part but do not want to have holes drilled into the bumper. The main concern would be if it interferes with the sensors. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thank you.

Lot's of threads about this subject just do a search. Predominate one is here.

Summary:
1) Sto-N-Go: Uses existing screw and adhesive tape. Looks good and quality is great. Is low and can hit curbs and parking stops. Adhesive can come undone. Some complaints of sensor interference.
2) Craigs: Use adhesive tap. Good quality. Is up higher and does not hit curbs. Adhesive can come undone. Some complaints of sensor interference.
3) Vinyl wrap: Only legal in a few states. Some people don't like he look.

after researching this I found that the aftermarket mounts are just as ugly as the stock mount (or uglier) and also interfere with sensors.

So for now I am just leaving off my front plate and if it becomes an issue I'll put the stock mount on.

This is my solution for using Craigs without sensor interference. It works well, though I'd prefer it if the plate could be vertical rather than pointing slightly towards the ground.

Oh ok. Not an option for me. I am debating between the craig solution and just giving up and use the conventional approach of drilling holes.

I have a Premium and the Sto n Go. I haven’t had any sensor issues but did hit a parking curb with it and now it tilts downward. I’m ok with that and just didn’t want to give LE a reason to stop me by leaving the front plate off.

I used Craigs and mine looks identical to JohnFoxeSheets. I did not like the double sided sticky tape, even if it the trused 3M brand. I chose to drill a hole to put in a single 1/4-20 bolt. I removed the frunk plastic panels and drilled a hole from the top down. It is tight but achievable. I carefully dropped a bolt down through the hole to hold the bracket in place. I am not concerned with a small hole on the underside of the front end. I ordered the vinyl plate and will install that using PPF under it, so I can remove the plate. I do not like stickers on my car.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear your license plate looks just like me! ??

Sadly my car arrived with the Ford travesty of a front plate bracket already installed, so a vinyl plate doesn't really work for me. I do check the mounting tape adhesion periodically to make sure it isn't coming loose and so far it's been good. But I do like your idea of a bolt from above. Did you use a carriage bolt to keep it from spinning when you tighten the nut from below?

Oh, and I used PPF under my HOV lane decals for the same reason, though one of the decals actually came off (maybe in a car wash), so I had to order a replacement...

I'm likely going vinyl plate. Just trying to figure if I'm going to center it or go to the side below headlight like a euro plate

@JohnFoxeSheets Have you looked into plugs to fill the holes drilled by Ford for the plate? I remember seeing a few people who found them and put them on to fill the holes. That might allow you to use the vinyl plate.

I did not use a carriage bolt. It is a great idea. I just used a long extension to hold the bolt head. I have only removed the bracket once and when I reinstalled it, the head did not spin. I did put two nuts to ensure it is locked and a little harder to remove.

I have (I thought it would be nice to cover the holes even though I have the plate on). Sadly the place that specializes in those plugs with matched paint colors doesn't have my IBSM paint color, and having it custom made would cost something stupid like $150 (I don't recall the exact number, but it was over $100). When I asked if they would sell me unpainted plugs so I could use my own paint (I already have touchup paint), they said to buy black plugs (at full non-custom price). I decided screw it - it's not worth worrying about...
