Walk away lock no longer working

Anyone else experiencing this? I thought maybe it was because the bluetooth is better on the new iPhone, but it NEVER locks now.

Is it after you close you tailgate? I have noticed that if I walk away while it is closing it will not lock. I have to wait until it is completely closed before I walk away and have it lock.

I'm assuming you mean with PAAK but yes. With the latest updates, mine locks about 80-90% of the time. The rest of the time I don't get an alert and I have to remote lock it. On the plus side, PAAK is significantly better. I've only had to wait on it once or twice and the car starts immediately.

Never mind I figured it out. I'm an idiot. I keep my fob in a faraday cage and leave it in the car for emergencies/valet and use the PaaK. But I guess when I had it out last time for valet I didn't properly close the cage and it wasn't properly blocking off the signal from the fob. Sorry, nothing to see here! ?

I’m seeing the same behavior. Car is not auto locking when I walk away… tried toggling the settings off/on but just this morning I parked, walked all the way across the lot and no honk, no message from the app that the car locked.

Also, the same time that started, I had several instances of the car not opening or auto locking with the key in hand So it’s not just PAAK.

I don't know why people just don't take the battery out of the fob instead. Those bags are less then reliable IMO...

Because I valet pretty often it would be annoying to fumble around with batteries every time. I've never had a problem with the faraday cage, I just didn't close it properly this time.

Mine just started doing this after my latest OTA. I just toggled the walk away lock off then back on and it seems to be functioning fine again now.

Mine also stopped working after the last OTA. Just went through all the troubleshooting steps i could think of. Disabled and re-enabled it in settings. Disassociated and reassociated my fob and paak in my driver profile. Rebooted screen. Still not working.

Can anyone think of anything else I might try?
