Departure times in FordPass app not working

I just got my 2023 MME yesterday. Everything is working great accept for scheduling departure times in the FordPass app. My phone is a Google pixel 7. When I go to set departure times in the app I get the attached error. The app is otherwise connecting to the car just fine. Is this a known issue? Any help will be appreciated!

Try setting them in the car.

FordPass often has server issues.

If I set mine in the car, it almost always works. Very rare that it doesn't. If I set it in FordPass, it almost never works, very rare that it will. Does as Rick suggests.

Thanks for the tips. You would think they would want to get that working. I do have one set in the car and it shows that on the first screen, so that's not making this screen work. Oh well, thanks again.

FordPass is "OK." It's not a good app imo, nor a particularly bad one. But it does have its flaws.

I have really spotty FordPass success as well. Sometimes FordPass even erases the departure times I set in the car.

I work from home, so I don't have a set time every day. I wish the app worked more consistently.

Seem to get the "FordPass isn't responding" error/warning if the car is sleeping or not recently operated. Quick work around is to first awaken the car with an unlock or approach with keyfob/PAAK. After welcome lights activate the car has "awakened" then changes can be made from FordPass.

Otherwise just make the setting changes in the car as suggested.

This was working great for me (i used it a few days ago) and all of a sudden its not working. On the main vehicle screen it displays the next available departure time, but when I click on the box I get the screen you have displayed. I would normally see the departures times and an add departure button.

This is not normal, this app feature is not working anymore.

I was in IT. If we rolled out software with bugs, heads roll.

I set it in FP and it confirms and shows in the schedule on FP. When I go to my car is is not on the schedule.

Mine is not setting in the car very well either I think maybe 1 out of 3 tries it may work. I will set it in the car go back in and it say all set but then I go back out a day later and the schedule is back to the last successful scheduled event and the new one is nowhere to be found. If I do not go back out it just does not work. Not an app problem from what I see. Agree you have a better chance in the car as it simplifies it but does not fix it. Unlock it and lock it prior to trying to send it to the car from Fordpass may help. It is just flaky now and no longer works. Bit disappointing for such a critical operation and the current time of the year.

When it was working i I set it on fp is was set in the car. When I set it in the car it was displayed on the fp.

I set it in the car yesterday. The departure time was displayed on the fp vehicle screen. I click the departure box and the screen that started this thread is displayed.

The car cabin temp was all set for the departure time I entered. This has always worked for me.

In my opinion the fp app has stopped working to add or change departure times and I would think this is not working for all fp users.

How do we notify Ford of this problem?

I set up two scheduled departures in FordPass, one for Friday evening and one for Saturday morning. The car did not precondition for either. While the times showed in the app snd fud save, they weren’t showing in the car when I checked after discovering a cold car. Further, when I checked the app there were no departure times. Even though both showed on Friday.

As for reporting it, perhaps there’s an email address in the info on the App Store and whatever Google calls theirs now. Otherwise we need to hope they still lurk on this forum.
