New version of Blue Cruise ? '23.5 MME coming out - scheduling starts 1/17.

Heard on Long McArthur Ford YT video that next week, the new 23.5 MY is coming out with a new version of Blue Cruise !

It's supposed to be Job 2.

Anyone know what this update will do for Blue Cruise ?

Would the older MME be able to get an OTA update get this feature ?

Ford hasn't communicated what's contained in 23.5MY, but there was no scheduling for January through half of February. Usually Job 2s are mid year updates to change functionality/features. Occasionally new trims/options are available at J2 as well.

Yes. But Ford has not specifically confirmed that BC 1.2 will come to older models. I believe that it will eventually. Ford is likely just getting smarter about throwing dates out there that they never meet.

I am not happy that our '23 MME will be missing AM radio.

My '22 Lightning has it and I use it everyday.

I heard from another thread that the '23 are missing the AM radio band...

That would be great if I can keep my AM radio channels.

I know, many people here say "why would use an antiquated radio"......

Can't confirm since I'm waiting for my car, but the order guide says it should be there.

My ‘23 does not have AM radio. FM and satellite only.

They’ll remove some paint colors and add a different gray option.

Yah - no kidding - when Ford removed the Ice Blue Silver Metallic from the '23 MME after I ordered the '22 in IBSM - I was so upset.

It was supposed to match my '22 Lightning IBSM.
