My last Power-Up update was 3.5.4.2 back in November last year. Hoping that I get the latest Sync UX update as I've heard some people are getting them. Just curious if anybody knows whether transient trouble codes will prevent power-updates from happening until I get a Ford dealer to clear the codes.

A couple of weeks ago I got the 1-PD system fault and SVS message that cleared a day later. I don't know if some hidden record of the code will keep me from getting expected Power-Up updates though. https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...icle-soon-while-traveling-am-i-screwed.24967/

Thanks!

(And yeah, I'm in Canada so maybe things roll out here slower too.)

I'm also wondering about this. A month or so ago my car gave me a 12 V battery fault schedule service soon message when I started it but it went away and only showed up a couple more times before never showing up again. I didn't even get an error message in the app so I assumed it was due to headlights being left on after getting inspected. Now I'm stuck on 3.6.1 in EA.

It shouldn’t. I got a “Powertain Malfunction / Reduced Power” on 12/20/22 that cleared itself after restarting the car (I think it was the quick combination of unplugging the car, and quickly shifting / using the parking brake) and I got the new UI (4.1.2) last night.

No they don't matter, I've har the service park brake message since last month and I've had a few updates including 4.1.2 today.

They can if they're active codes, but usually if you restart the car and you don't get any pop-ups, the car is no longer in an error state and updates can proceed.

If you are currently getting service 12V errors, those will hold up your OTAs because the battery is too low to proceed with OTA installation.
