Front license plate

When I took possession of my 23 ME GT, I told the dealer specifically NOT to install the bracket. NOT going to install it and take my chances...

Mine too, said "Nobody does it anymore" even though it's the law here. The police in one of our cities posted this a couple years ago, probably parking enforcement, but I looked it up, and it is a primary offense here (meaning they could pull you over for it)

Nobody has put forward a reasonable explanation why it is so cool to drive w/o the front reg. plate. Why not remove the rear one too ?

Nope. I have a Sto n Go to avoid damage to the bumper but it broke off when I pulled too close to a parking curb and I haven’t reinstalled it.

To each his/her own. Some of us think the vehicle turns ugly with a license plate and bracket on the front, I understand some dont. IMO, some vehicles do get ugly with those on. But again, to each his own. Go with what you feel is right for your vehicle.

Well now, where I live & drive (Sweden +rest of Europe) I would not get very far, even if the police would not stop me right away. No entry to car parks or toll roads that read your registration on entry, for instance. So, it would be stupid, really

I've seen comments from PA&WA, so someone has an attitude problem. You will do what you will do with your cars, of course. No reason to have an attitude and losing manners..

I predict likely more than half the folx on MacheForum are from the US and of those maybe half are from CA, since that's where all the EVs are these days in the US.

No front plate required in MI.
