So sync runs off the 12V when the car is off? That makes sense. Good to know. Everything runs off the 12V when the car is off?

Yes, there's actually no reason for there to be an accessory mode, I'm not sure why they kept this ICE holdover. The car should always be in Ready or "On" mode when you're using that stuff so you don't drain the 12v battery.

Yep, that's exactly what I did last year when we did a drive-in. IIRC you have to be careful with opening the doors or hitting the pedals though because then the lights come on for a bit. Next time we'll park backwards with the hatch open and sit in folding chairs

Most every drive-in I've ever been at will have mosquitoes that will carry both you and your chairs away--for an hour or so at dusk, just as the movie gets going. ?

Will they have a “necking mode” for when teenagers are at the drive-in to put the HVAC on overdrive? Windows can get pretty foggy… ??

Isn't the fog pretty much a privacy screen at that point? Interest in the movie is inversely proportional to internal humidity level

Going to the drive-in for the first time in the Mach-E this weekend. It is supposed to be pretty chilly, so we plan on keeping the car on with the heat on. How exactly do you turn off all exterior lights while keeping the car on?
