OBDLink MX anyone have this one?

I been looking at ‎OBDLink MX+ because it says

• Intelligent sleep mode: plug it in, and forget about it — it won't drain your car's battery

So video says you can leave in always plugged in. Anyone know if that is true?

Yes, I leave mine plugged in all the time. It doesn't cause a battery drain as long as you're not connected and trying to pull data from the car while it's off.

I have the MX. Not sure what the + adds but mine isn't BLE so it won't work with ABRP if you want to do that. Otherwise works great.

You get what you pay for. JMHO but this isn't something to cheap out on, especially if you're going to leave it plugged in with the car off.

Agree on the not cheaping out. What's crazy is the prices. In November 2016 I bought the OBDLink MX from the company directly. It was $79.95, but they had a promo and I paid $53.57...

I bought the OBDLink MX+ while on sale Amazon prime. I updated the firmware. But I keep going out to check it with no fob. But I see the power green light flashing. How long does it take to go to sleep? Is there a setting? Don't want to run down my battery. Anyone have a good file I can export into car scanner app or the app that came with it to monitor my mach-e? What does everyone display on there dashboard?
