I’ll never buy another Ford either, I paid full price for mine and they dropped the price twice so I’m out 11k, sure I got the tax credit, but I would have gotten it anyway after the decrease. It is what it is and they had to do what was best for them to be competitive but I’ll never give them any more money, especially not on this pointless Rally thing.

I like Rally. And I think this fits well. If it has more power, (without a 5 second limit) I might be tempted. I live in the snow belt where a little extra clearance and some fog lights would be a good thing.

Imagine if you had bought a Model 3 or Y last year?

Let me guess: a 7 second limit
You joke, but a couple extra seconds of full power would make a significant difference.

5 gets you to 72 mph before power gets pulled. 7 would be closer to 90.

But it wouldn’t be enough to make laps on a rally track.

I have no horse in this race: live in a 6 mph avg speed area + have a premium. 1 second limit is more than enough for me  .

This is Ford’s answer to those who claim that engineers are busy with Gen 2 models and don’t have the resources to support continuous improvement.

I want that front bumper with the integrated fog/driving lights ?
Loving the rally inspired wheels too! Would've been a nice gesture if this was dedicated to Ken Block, RIP #43!

So yesterday Hyundai show of there incarnation of a performance ev , while today Ford trots outs a GT/PE with a different ride height and some minor cosmetic changes with ZERO mention of any updates to the drive train, steering & suspensions that would be needed for a rally edition.

I will give them points for at least using the classic oz rally wheel design, but coming from a company that has a very long history of offering road going rally specials I can't think of a worse example than this :(. What wasted opportunity, It would appear then yet once again marketing and engineering are on different pages.
