Ford App: your car has been unplugged, except it wasn't even plugged in

So I randomly got a message from my Ford App that stated something like "your Mach E was unplugged" except it was in my garage, and not plugged in to begin with.

I assume it was a random error but curious if others have had that happen or not?

Sometimes a server glitch causes the notifications to be cached, and you'll get them days later. Guessing your car was unplugged while charging at some point in the past and it just finally got delivered.

Would that type of notification occur when exclusively charging at home? I guess I haven't paid attention to whether or not my car was unplugged before reaching its pre-determined 90% of charge or not.

Yes, any time the car is manually unplugged before reaching the charge target that message is generated. I don't think location matters.

I can’t find that setting now that I have the new interface that moved “Charging” from the settings menu to its own app.

It’s under Account Settings in FordPass. It’s called “Accidental unplug”.

Well it didn't specify when it was unplugged, it was indeed unplugged in the past

Sorry, couldn't help it. These software glitches happen, I wouldn't worry to much about it, unless it happens on a regular basis.
