Umm, used Mach E can not have EA plug and charge ? Do Better Ford

So I bought a used MME and have not been able to activate plug and charge. The chat folks tell me its not possible, however I cant imagine this is the correct answer have anyone else had issues and any advice for me.

I hear ya, but openly thinking that Tesla will be plug and charge through blue oval next year . So this is preemptive

Maybe. Magic Docks don’t P&C.

This may seem like a silly question, but how did you try to activate P&C? I ask because a couple of weeks ago I got about six messages in FP in the span of about 10 seconds telling me that P&C was no longer active and listing a number I should call to reactivate. I ignored all of that and a couple days later just moved the P&C slider in FP and it said it was now active. I have not been to a DCFC station to confirm, but it shows on the app that I am GTG. ?‍

Plug and charge won't enable from the app. I tested plug and charge or even in app charger activation on the new to me MME at an EA station that I have used successfully with my old MME about 25 times

Update, I called Ford Market program headquarters they tell me this is a known issue and a fix is in the works. So for now I need to use the EA app.

I don’t think so. Adding the car to FordPass was easy enough. I would think that would have been difficult if it was connected to someone else’s account. ?‍ I purchased from CarMax and let my dealer know I have the car.

I purchased a brand new GTPE (had 36 miles on it), and have the same issue, "error, try again later", or something like that...
