After the most recent 6.4.0 update, I often see this blue bar, which sometimes turns red depending upon the mode I am in. Does anyone else see this? Any ideas @Ford Motor Company ?

Thanks. I knew this, but this is different: it is often very faded blue or faded red, and does not go away as it should if it was just the follow distance indicator.

It has always worked that way. It will only go away if you turn off the distance indicator.

You mentioned some level of driving mode dependence. I have observed some level of speed dependence as well. In the most extreme instances, you might get a collision system alert and a lot of bings and beeps in some traffic merging situations. I felt the whole feedback loop was pretty good. TBH, I only notice it go red rarely because my eyes are focused on the road. I think it would be easy to miss in that context.

I think the Distance Indicator has lines indicating how close to alert you. The picture above seems like a solid square.
At least on my MME, it shows a solid square until I start moving. Then it has a bar on top, that goes down if I get too close to the car in front. If there are no cars in front, it is as big as it gets, with the bar on top. When it detects a car in front of me, it shows a stylized car rear just above the bar.

I was wrong! I noticed the same tonight. The blue square turned into a red line as I was following too close to the car in front. So I suspect the solid blue/red is equivalent to the stripped marker when driving with cruise control.
