Paak has nothing to do with the app remote car features working.

alright, maybe I'm wrong, but there's no mention of it here: Ford Mustang Mach-E: Remote Features with FordPass™ Connect and FordPass App | Ford How-To | Ford (youtube.com) , just enabling FordPass connected services.
That video addresses remote starting, unlocking and locking doors, and nothing else. You do not need PAAK for those. The “and more” part isn’t referring to the windows, frunk, or trunk, but rather, to other general app features. As @generaltso said, you’ll need PAAK for the frunk, trunk and windows.

If PAAK isn’t your thing, or it doesn’t work for you, you can always do the Lightning fob trick for the frunk button.

i use paak, i just don't understand why it's needed to do these remote features. I don't need paak (it's not supported though) on my Lyriq to do these things.

I'm making an assumption that as the UK insurance companies won't allow PAAK operation we won't get remote frunk release in the U.K. There's no icons in FordPass to open the trunk or operate the windows either which I assume is also down to no PAAK.

so 6.7 is a joke.
Frunk button is NOT there.
Only maybe if you enable PAAK.
Why all the silly games.
Ford is completely clueless but they insist on torturing their victims.

I just noticed the drunk release on fordpass - I love this forum for pointing this out. Tried it this morning and it works great.

YES!

As a recent victim of this design/implementation flaw, I strongly recommend avoiding electronic release in a below-freezing temperature (I still hope it is more reliable when it's warm).

Just got Ford Powerup 6.7.0 claiming that I now have the elusive Frunk Release feature on my Ford Pass app. I don’t see it on my app, nor any explanation as to how to use it. Any suggestions?

I’ve had the electronic frunk release enabled for some time now. So far (knock on wood) I’ve had no issues.

Good luck, but I doubt it.
Glad it does not show for me. Takes away the temptation and accidental use.
