Simply put, if the BCM bricks, your car is now a paperweight.

Wow! If I had known this then I might not have installed this update just now while I am ~500 miles from home. Luckily the update installed fine.

Nope. Got 6.4.0 a few months ago. No numbered updates since then.
2021 Job 1 Premium 4X in the EA program.

The 6.13 OTA broke things, so sometime in November - December of 2023 all OTAs were put on hold.

Only recently (past few weeks) have a couple of fix-pack OTAs been released to some cars

People on this forum who seem to be in-the-know had previously mentioned that full-release OTAs would resume sometime this month (March 2024), but I'm personally not convinced anyone really knows if/when they will resume.

I got 6.2.1, 6.3.0 and 6.4.0 in January. A couple of 23-xxx and 24-xxx updates since then, but no 6.x.x updates since January.
