That’s because you’re not nearing renewal time yet.Sooo pardon my stupidity. We have a 2022 Mache California Route With blue cruise. We use it on 400 series highways (CDN). We have never received a single communication on Blue Cruise related to having to pay for that service.
please update me.
Likewise we have a 2024 Nautilus ordered since 2023-May-08. The options include Blue Cruise. There has been no communication from Ford indicating that there will be a renewal fee.
thank you in advance for updating me.
I regularly record feedback. No compensation, but I do see perceive value in that my feedback might improve my future purchases.Just a curious random question.. do you happen to use the feedback feature often at all?
I feel like that would be a great gift to give!
If it’s good feedback, then you’re an asset.
Thanks for this posting. I just checked my services also and I had the same offer! Same year and model you have. 4,000 miles and no problems, thanks Ford.My Bluecruise trial subscription (that had already been extended since Feb 2023) is about to expire at the end of this month.
when logging into connected services this morning and hitting the renew button, I noticed this option to add another 12 months for $0!!

Same here. I checked it just in case is was an option, but it's not.My 3yr Trial ends in 2025, hopefully the generosity is still available around that time lol
imagine all the version controls you would need to do and maintain. from a software perspective, this would be a nightmare ?It's a shame they don't just let you pay for a subscription that gets you upgrades. Like if you don't upgrade you're stuck at your latest blue cruise, and then if you want newer versions you have to have an active subscription.
Then they could do things like maintaining an uninterrupted subscription it's cheaper to renew. But the all or nothing feels awful as a customer.
From your lips to God's ears! At this pace, all we can do is hope ?imagine all the version controls you would need to do and maintain. from a software perspective, this would be a nightmare ?
my BC ends in 2025, i hope i get at least BC 1.3 by that time![]()
I guess I don't follow your critique? There's a lot of software that follows this methodology successfully. Version control exists, branch releases with hotfixes is an established pattern, etc, so it's not exactly trail blazing to do.imagine all the version controls you would need to do and maintain. from a software perspective, this would be a nightmare ?

Yea, you're right. We do have that now across our phone devices and announcing EOL or "support ends in ..." works just as fine. I forgot to mention I was thinking of Ford's infancy on the EV side of the business - something like this would probably postpone BC 1.3 even longer ? my bad!I guess I don't follow your critique? I guess the best thing about their current method is you go from having something to having *nothing* which may make you notice the delta and buy back in. I'd contend however that BC itself is not enough of a "must have" to make me buy it, at least in it's current incarnation. If it ever gets to that point though, maybe their current subscription model is more appealing: but even then I feel it's a gouge on consumers since it's your sensors and hardware you've already paid for executing the actual inferencing - it makes no sense to pay for an ongoing subscription to something already running in your car.
Hah; I mean that is a fair point that adding friction to their software release schedule might get some disruptions to their roll outs as they stand.. Hopefully they can mature their software dev over a while with all that bluecruise subscription money..Yea, you're right. How often do you use BC? I actually use it pretty often on road trips and long 10+ min drives on the freeway. It's handled itself quite well on turning and lane centering. I do wish that the car would move itself in the land when next to truck/SUV though ...
