Autotrader shows 15 within 50 miles of my location in the DFW area.

I agree with the other posters here about owners hanging on to their MME due to the value of their car. The one thing I don't like about my MME is the rough ride. I would be very interested in moving up from my Premium to a GTPE to get the magna-ride suspension, but I would get so little for mine, it just doesn't make sense. I can live with the ride on mine for at least a couple more years until the extended service contract runs out. At that point I will decide if I want to keep rolling with it or move into something newer.
Have you looked into EV grade tires?

Alternatively, have you looked into any opportunity to swap the wheels for something else that can fit tires with more rubber on them? I don’t know if it is possible. Just asking.

You can generally get away with cold filling up maybe 1-2 psi less than factory recommended tire pressure for your day to day driving and that should also make it a bit better? Anything less would start hurting the tires but 1-2 psi shouldn’t make a huge dent no pun intended.

Car loans are always "up-side-down"! Cars are not appreciating assets! Cars decline in value as they are used up! That's normal!
Not always. Depends on how much you borrow and the loan duration. I’ve never owed more on a car than what it’s worth.

I am talking about the people whose loans went “upside down” referred above, they clearly weren’t at 0% I can tell you that.

If the loan is 0%, then the point I am making above is moot and you already knew that even before you started typing a reply but if you didn’t know, I am not talking about zero interest loans. Heck I’d be the first person in line if there was a 0% loan. :)
Right now you can get 0% for 72 months on a new Mach E.

You can also get them for thousands below MSRP and the MSRP just dropped by over $8k.

Bottom line? A new GTPE is dirt cheap and you can get 0% for 72 mo.

This is a great deal on a compact performance EUV no other car brand can even come close to, let alone the Y Performance this competes with directly. I will continue to say that if you are going for a GT, GT Performance is THE trim to go for, otherwise just stick to the Select / Premium. Of course, going from a 2021 Job 2 to a 2023 makes no sense but if someone is in the market for a GT PE, they are in luck these days if deals like this go live and with 0 percent loan interest for the first few months!

P.S. The only thing is that this deal is in Mississippi. I wonder if the prices there are representative of the true pricing on the GT PE. Around where I am (west coast), they are still showing up to be around $62k out the door price including all fees taxes etc. Which tallies with what I said above, that they were around $70k last I checked, but now maybe taken the 8k cuts.

I've done that. I changed the wheels and tires. On the wheels, I went down in size from the 19" that came on the Premium to an 18" wheel to get a taller sidewall. It did help.

So I did a quick search for a used premium AWD 2022 for a member who got their car stolen recently.

In a 500 mile radius there were……. 3 for sale.

I figured, well, maybe it’s a fluke, searched 500 miles from me……. Found 2.

And none cyber orange.

But within 500 miles there were 792 new 2023 premium AWD.

In fact, there is only ONE 2022 premium AWD cyber orange listed for sale in the entire country:

https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/inven...2&entitySelectingHelper.selectedEntity=d2990#

So it begs the question- where are all the used Mach Es at? I thought the used ones were supposedly hard to sell??
I suspect there are not that many cyber orange Mach-Es out there, and those who have them may be liking them too much to sell right now.

Well, then - and you already know everything I’m going to say - you are chasing maybe 10-15% improvement with MagneRide suspension because the default is 20” wheels on GTPE so that bit works against providing a softer ride that MagneRide now has to work on to “address”. And honestly, if I am not alternating between the two trims back to back, then that difference is probably not going to be bothersome. The condition of the roads and how you drive also matter a great deal.

I am assuming that your car has 30 mile more range than GTPE. I’d take that over upgrading to MagneRide any day. 30 miles is a good 30-40 minute extra driving before you need to charge.

Maybe? But that would increase demand for the used ones which should help prices.

The extremely low volume of used ones on the market was a bit of a shock. If someone wants a premium cyber orange…… good luck finding one near you!

When I did a search for used Mach Es, I was honestly expecting thousands.

For example, nationwide search of 2021-2023 used GTs…… 318.

Narrow to 2021- 57
DMG- 6
My car- 2021 GTPE dark matter grey- 1.

There is literally only one used 2021 GTPE dmg for sale in the country.

I reallly really didn’t think that my car would be hard to find nor “rare.” Oh, and that ONE? Reported as a lemon. https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/inven...2990&zip=94501#listing=379017305/NONE/DEFAULT

So there isn’t a single one of my car for sale right now!
I saw a Cyber Orange for the first time yesterday.

Here's the positive. Yes, you will lose 10K ish on your 2021. But, I see a GTPE for 35K online with 13K miles. That is half price and add neg. equity puts you at $45K.
