Oh believe me, a dealership that's not capable of leaving town in a hurry can't even come close to getting away with the real good scams. So you were personally trained by "the best of the best of old school used car salesman scammers"...
Yet the sales people, at the dealership that's "been notorious for decades", who "aren't smooth at all about it".... still managed to pull the same kind of scam on you, selling a lemon instead of a Win98 PC?
I think the rent-to-own PC customers were not the only ones that got scammed...
The dealership and I played a fun game of checkers.
I got the lemon off the lot with zero down payment, no trade-in, and made sure Ford HQ held the warranty. Was never going to let that dealer service department touch it for actual repairs. Was hoping we wouldn't need any though. My wife is now driving the Escape Hybrid off of a different Ford lot that flat out told me they are refusing to order, service, or train on any more EV's. Got that on Wednesday with no trade-in, zero down, low interest. Wife was stunned.
Ford HQ now knows that I also know how to play chess instead.
