Our sales guy had to go talk to the order crew (or whatever they're called) and they confirmed it could be done. MSRP.

Just ordered our Rally.
Awesome, up in Maine this weekend, driving down 1/2 mile muddy dirt roads, was actually fantasizing about a Rally, my wife wouldn't let me drift down the road with the kids in the back though.

Well that's interesting..... I better check in with my sales guy to see if he can order for me. There isn't an order guide out yet with the GT or Rally yet, correct?

Pricing - MSRP or less?
Order guide does exist. Dealer will have access to it.

Here is part of it-

Debating getting a rally package on my next car. Do i HAVE to have the steel roof with the Rally version? or is there a way to keep the panorama glass?

The order guide a couple of posts up indicates you're stuck with steel. ?‍♂

I like that grille with the extra lights in it. Anyone know if you’ll be able to order one for existing GTs?

Order? Undoubtedly.

Wire it up so it works properly? Unknown.

Another thread where someone ordered a light up GT grill in Europe and is having issues getting it to light up. Apparently it’s computer controlled, no just a simple “give the bulb power and it lights up.”

So no splicing them to the headlight wires?

I couldn’t tell from the picture, does the front pony still light up?

No splicing. And unsure on the 2nd part.

They don't work that way. There is an LED control module built into the headlamps. That module has power all the time and when it gets a signal from the BCM over LIN it powers the LED's. There are NO wires you can tap into anywhere under the frunk that will power a device when the headlights are on. You can tap into an ignition wire so a device can come on anytime the car is on. Also, as far as the lighted grill emblem, I do not believe you can just apply power for it to work. It is LIN controlled. If you were to tap into the LIN connection from the BCM to the LED control module, it will detect excessive current draw and shut down.”

Ain’t that a huckleberry…

That being said, it sounds like you can run a wire from the ignition and they’ll work? Maybe one could be run from the LVB?

edit: reading through the thread. It might just work. If the Rally grille has a light up pony, the GT should recognize it and it should work as normal. Then just rig the fog lights up to run whenever the car is on.

That’s beyond my pay grade. I wouldn’t want to be the guinea pig. Unless you don’t mind if the lights don’t work and just like how it looks in the daytime.

The Rally lights likely draw a lot more current than the pony.

Yeah. Oh well. ORDERED!
FYI - I am very happy with my steel roof. One huge benefit is better heating and cooling efficiency. The cold draft in winter and heat in summer coming through the glass is significant. And my wife hates the glass roof putting sun on her face. That last one is the most important.

It’s always interesting how people who don’t own a glass room claim these things about the glass roof.

Heat and light transfer through the glass roof is surprisingly low.

From the front seats you often forget the roof is even glass. I only notice when I sit in the back.

And Florida is about as hot and sunny as it gets.
