Hi All

I've recently had my HVBJB recall serviced at a local dealer. No stop safe now error, this was just responding to the recall letter they sent out.

However, since having the recall done, I've experienced the 1 pedal drive fault twice in less than 30 miles of driving.

On both occasions, I was not able to re-engage 1pd in controls (greyed out) but it came back after leaving th car parked overnight.

I have been driving in 1 pedal drive mode since day 1, and never had this previously after 5k miles on the car.

The messages displayed was exactly as "1-Pedal Drive Fault, press brake pedal to reduce speed" as other people have shared.

Does this mean the dealer/service messed something up? Anything specific that I need to tell them when I call?

I've been told this dealer has previously serviced 4 HVBJB replacements so they beleive they have experience.

Thanks...

Had the one pedal error happen to my MME after completion of HVBJB recall a few weeks ago. parked overnight and I re-selected one pedal function the next morning and it is back to functioning properly.

Took my MME out for a lunch drive yesterday and one pedal worked fine for about 120 miles than with only 10 miles left to get home the one pedal fault notice showed up and one pedal turned off.

Before I went to bed I turned the car on and one pedal feature was back on. Question is how long will the one pedal feature operate before shutting down again?

Back to the dealer to now have this problem looked at.

The glitch will occur randomly while using regen. Depends how often you use regen.

See this: SSM 52498 - "1 Pedal Drive Fault" Warning Message, P0C2F:92 Stored in the SOBDMC

A fix is in the works but not available yet. Probably in the next week or two, so I would wait to take it in until the fix is live.

I had my HVBJB service completed a couple of weeks ago as well. When I started my car this morning, I could hear the hissing sound from the AM radio, meaning there was another OTA update.

Wasn't sure if it was the update or the HVBJB service but my 1 pedal drive mode disabled on the freeway this morning on my way to work. After 42k miles, this is the first time I've experienced this.

Ironically, this latest update was supposed to improve how the car unlocks but I got was actually locked out for a couple if minutes. Why do they keep breaking things instead of fixing them?

Ford cancelled my appointment to replace the HVBJB the night before the appointment. Looks like they don't want to do these due to the I-pedal issue?

The powertrain software was revised last week and it fixes this issue. If you know anyone who has access to FDRS they can apply the updates for you. There is currently no TSB or CSP for dealers to install these, but one is expected soon™️. ??

+1 to this happening twice now after HVBJB recall service performed two weeks ago. Interestingly, it happened at the same stretch of road on my commute (congested section of down hill freeway). Kind of scary to need to jump over to hit the brakes to avoid hitting that car right in front of you.

Hey there. I would like to look into your 1 Pedal Drive concerns on my end. To get things started, can you please send over a message with your VIN and estimated mileage?

If your HVJB was replaced or if your powertrain module software was updated during the period 26 Apr - 5 May 24 then you should contact your service advisor and schedule your car back in for the (roughly) hour it will take to re-program the re-freshed powertrain updates that correct the 1PD issue.

Any idea why only vehicles updated from 4/26 will have to have the new software?

My Mach E was updated during HVBJB recall in the week of 4/8 and I had the problem with 1PD.
