For some, there is never enough communication. For me, I have received all the communication from Ford that I expected:

1. Notification my order was accepted (6/30/2020)
2. Notification of my color change order (9/4/2020)
3. Notification of price change -- decrease!! (9/29/2020)
4. Notification my car has been scheduled for production week of 1/10/2021 (11/5/2020)

I expect to be notified when the car has been built and again when shipped. It sounds like customers are not getting the last two notifications. Am I correct?
I have received 1, 3, and 4 just like you.

My car has been built for two weeks now, haven't gotten an email on that yet.
Dealer and its auto-generated, not ford. Move on troll.
Troll? In what *possible* way is this a trolling message, other than my dealer is starting to troll me by asking if I still want the car that's sitting in Mexico with my name on it?

Ford corporate needs to understand that dealer communication does impact customers' view of the brand, period. I think they know that, since they have so many coaching sessions with the dealers.

so your vehicle is built. it's coming just wait.
you spend so much time on this I guess all other items you buy are right. I hate to be with you if you went to McDonald's and they told you the shake machine is down and didn't send you an email

Horns of hell riding with you.?

Tesla's first deliveries were horrible and delays. Did you go hound them also? are you then now with another window open on your computer giving them hell for their problems?

I mean... I'm not giving Ford hell, I'm on an enthusiast forum, not talking to Ford directly. None of us here represent Ford as far as I know.

I'm the type of person that checks his Mach-E order probably five times a day at this point, and it's only increasing. I just want the car in my driveway yesterday. Sorry if that comes off as frustration, it kinda is, but I'm not directing it at anyone here, just frustrated the pandemic has ruined so much of 2020 including getting my Mach-E faster.

I'm sure once my Mach-E arrives I'll be too busy drooling over it to be here much :p

You get some of that information yourself looking at your ford account.
Yes but the MyFord information is woefully behind. It says "Scheduled for Production Week of 12/13/2020". For some reason the "Built" is not lit up despite the fact it was built 12/22. Same with the vehicle tracking by VIN.

my order was at the dealer not over the internet thingy
Well, that just leave you completely out of luck unless you have one of the few informative dealers.

Mine is somewhat informative except every time he reaches out to me I have more information than he does thanks to this Forum!

If you have to check

No luck on the dealer but now have the sales persons mobile number so I spam it with cat photos until I get an answer.

If that's the reason I'll give it to them (although 12/22 was pre-Christmas).
However, those sites seem automated and FordTracker has showed a production date since the afternoon of 12/22 (I'm fine with the 12ish hour delay between database update and public availability). It really seems like the MyFord and Ford's VIN tracker should have updated then too.

Just received an e-mail from Ford Authority about the delay of shipping our Mustangs. However, it was Europe that is experiencing the delay, not us (U.S.). See Ford, how hard was that? Why can’t you extend this communication to those of us that ordered the 2021 Mustang Mach E like you did with the 2002 Ford Thunderbird ?

OK on your message; I got it and won’t post on it any further. It just proves though that we have agree to disagree.
Honestly, you shouldn't let others dictate what you want to post about. If they don't want to read it, they can skip it, or 'ignore' you all together. You should feel free to post whatever you want in regards to the Mach E / Ford.

I'll agree with you. Thanks to some knowledgeable members here we first got the FordTracker website and now the tacking at the top of the page. I think it would be better if Ford provided this sort of feedback regularly to all buyers. We're in the 21st century now.
100% this!

And which auto manufacturer does this? Hear ford being said, Tesla does not do that. So sounds more like it should be said I wish all Auto manufacturers would do it.
Just because no other auto-makers are doing something, it doesn't mean that it wouldn't be a good idea for them to start trying it. Text message alerts, online status, tracking, etc. would be fantastic and could certainly be automated. Who cares if it's not being done now.

Welcome to the world of big companies working together to keep things tight. As much as they joke about each other they are also working together. Phone, cable,we can go on and on.
That is the point.
