My ’biggest' issue with the Mach-e fixed

Up until about a week ago I was constantly frustrated when I had to open the driver's door by making multiple swipes to get into the door lock code in the window pillar. The last three times It illuminated on the first swipe.

I’ve been having this issue since I got my vehicle ! How was it fixed? any new updates?

Of the 7 ford's I've owned I don't think I have ever used that feature. I know the all had it, but never used it.

I've used it on earlier Fords and it was a lifesaver when I accidentally locked the keys in the car.

Could it just be you (not meant to sound rude)? The pin pad is powered by capacitive touch. My 2016 Fusion Hybrid behaves exactly like my Mach e. I don’t swipe, I just tap where the numbers illuminate, and I make sure I press with the flat of my finger or thumb. I tap 2-3 times to wake it up. Something about the moisture of the skin affects the capacitive signal.

Yes, your right. Tapping rapidly seems much more reliable than swiping.
