I recently purchased an iPhone 15, and paired it to the car, more or less at the time there was an OTA software update. Since then the car will not connect via Bluetooth to the car. As a result, I am unable to use Waze navigation or many of the DB radio stations. Limited use of Siri. I have been to an Apple genius bar, who suggested a soft reset of the phone, and to delete the Ford app and re-install it via the Appstore. I also went to my Ford Mustang Mach-E dealer who did not have a clue. Has anyone else experienced similar problems?

Did you delete the phone from the car and re-pair it?

Also, if you have CarPlay enabled (which is superior to Bluetooth, IMHO), Bluetooth radio functions will be disabled. Is there a reason you’re not using CarPlay instead of Bluetooth?

To run CarPlay with my iPhone 11 I have to select WiFi named projaexxxx to connect to sync 4. Yours might have a different name but it’ll start with pro. I once didn’t know what it was so I deleted it then CarPlay complained that it couldn’t connect. Until I find a post in this forum about how to post car play via Bluetooth I had to plug into usb to connect.

I think all you need to do is just plug in your phone via a usb cable and accept a few prompt and everything will get configured for you.

I have a four year old Iphone SE and once was able to use bluetooth. Now I can't even though it's up-to-date in versions.
My wife has a newer Iphone and when she gets in the car, it automatically connects.
I decided to go with the USB cord because it always works and also powers the Iphone. That was my solution.

Mine didn't work that way. Plug in usb only launches car play, not configures carplay via blue tooth. To launch carplay without connecting to usb I have to select proXXX wifi in my iphone. I guess proxxx is the sync 4 wifi.
