AC start before I get to car.

I have started to do this, and love it (Southern Arizona.) Is there any reason to worry about any effect on the electrical system? I assume this only effects the High Voltage batteries.

As far as doing this, there’s gonna be no harm. I start mine for a half hour in the morning when it’s hot out, then we go someplace and my wife doesn’t feel like going in the store. I’ll leave her out in the car with it running for a half hour doesn’t even hardly use any Battery percent at all.

None that I have noticed, and surprisingly, the AC doesn't use that much power. In the summer, when I am grocery shopping, I get out of the car and start it. and extend it so it stays nice a cool for me. #Spoiled!

The HVAC is designed to run.

The climate start while the car is unattended is just fine to do daily. It runs off of the 12V system. Once the system sees that 12V battery has been engaged, it turn on the DC-DC charger that operates off of the big battery to charge the 12V battery while the HVAC is on. ??

Thanks folks, to be honest, I have been amazed at how little the AC draws power. I believe the heat is not a heat pump, but rather a resistive heater, and in the winter I do notice it takes a fair amount of juice.
