I tried it yesterday for the first time, and it worked seamlessly. That said, I had to try multiple stations to get the cable to reach the car, finally found a Tesla station where the charger was on the left of the car instead of behind, this allowed easy connection
You can nudge the nose over the curb to the right of the charger - there's enough room between chargers that whole nose will fit. If you see some of the videos posted you'll see it's not that bad and the skirt just clears the curb. The CCS compatible chargers have had the bollards that used to prevent this maneuver have been removed.

so I don't public charge at all, But part of me is worried, I'll use it and forget to take it off the tesla cordd and leave it. I'll probably get one of those red streamers "remove before flight or something on the steering wheel.
what he said:
Since you cannot hang the SC connector back in the V3 unit with the adapter attached, it will be tough to forget it unless you are in the habit of just dumping the charge cord on the ground when you unplug ?‍♂?

Awesome they are starting to roll out now.
Given I’m order #107K, I’ve got an October ship date; had to purchase the Lectron version. Got that yesterday and worked perfectly at the T-station first time.
Looking forward to seeing more ME’s at the stations…..sure got “the looks” from the Tesla people charging. ?

They are picking up steam. I received #3919 yesterday. Unfortunately it is the weekend and BucEes is under siege. #hyperbole. I’ll zip down there some time soon.
No! We must save the BucEes! It must not fall.

Just wondering, the ones which Ford shipped , are they manufactured by Tesla? They look very similar to the magic dock used in the Tesla CCS stations?

Absolutely. It's a little finicky getting lined up and pushed in so it locks, but I did it a few times and got the hang of it.
Shoot a little pure silicone spray or dry lube in the place where the J3400 inserts. Those things get all scratched up with use.
