:) My point was that the charging experience at a Tesla SC is so much better than the clunky unreliable experience at EA, EVgo, Chargepoint, etc. that given the opportunity, I will choose the Tesla SC over the CCS alternatives every time. As the adapters become universally available over the next year or two, I expect a lot of people will join me and EA's of the world will see a dip in their business until they step up their reliability.
Point taken.

Your car never got the Tesla Certificate, so the Tesla infrastructure can't authenticate your car through plug and charge. You can use the Tesla app to initiate because that's a completely different way of authenticating.
I think I’m in the same boat. How do you get this corrected so you can authenticate at Tesla chargers?

I got my adapter last week and tried to charge on Saturday at a bank of Tesla chargers. Plug and Charge did not work. I tried multiple times. I have the Tesla app and used that and it worked. For some reason my Tesla showed pending and not sure why. I have an active payment credit card on file and verified its accurate. I am thinking that is why Plug and Charge didn't work at the Tesla charger. Anyone know what to do to correct this?

My P&C is also not working, I never got the certificate. Opened a case with Ford.

FedEx delivered mine this afternoon. Battery currently at 81% so not a good time to test it. Only supercharger is on other side of town on a route I don’T use often. Will definitely test it out before taking it on a trip.

#14,700. Still waiting. I am going to go on a road trip I wasn't expecting to take at the end of the month. Seems iffy that it will get here by then, but if they keep up this pace, who knows?

I got my Tesla adapter yesterday (order 3084) and just wanted to say "thank you" @Ford Motor Company!

Please direct all complaints to /dev/null and not this thread....
Got mine yesterday (Order ID: FAE:90004975 2/29/24)!! Went right out to try it. The only issue I had was with the Tesla charging cord in that it isn't long enough to reach the port. I had to park in one spot and use the charger to my left, essentially taking up 2 spots. But it charged very quickly (49% to 80% in 20 mins). This is going to make my life so much easier. Thank you @Ford Motor Company

I noticed you have a number for your order. I can’t find one, my email just stated October delivery

You did you test at a very special Supercharger stall too! - the 50,000th Supercharger stall.
Yep, I had to go test the pretty red one since it matches my car. My Tesla-driving coworker says the red one isn't the best; it's slow. It probably gets a lot more use than the other boring white ones. :p

I used mine for the first time last week, and it was great! It took about 10 seconds for the blue rings to show up around the charge port, but it worked out great and charged at 150kw for a while.

As a side note for anyone using the NJ Turnpike, I wish the superchargers on the turnpike were open to non-Tesla owners.

yes I ended up doing that and it worked. On a call with Ford now trying to get the pending certificate to active.

In general NJ has done a horrible job with getting DCFC on the Toll roads. The AC expressway stop has 4 EVgo and a bunch of Teslas, but the NJTP is a desert for anyone not driving a Tesla EV. The GS Parkway has a sprinkling of CCS in the northern half of the state but otherwise you have to get off the toll road to charge a CCS car. They are just starting to take bids for NEVI funds, and will probably not award a contract before next spring.

My guess is that the Tesla SC on NJTP are already very busy and Musk decided he didn't need CCS cars tying up 2 spots to charge.
