Let me first say that I know this has probably been asked before, but I've searched and searched and couldn't find anything. Each thread that has actual info gets off topic and flooded with nonsense or other off-topic information in about .03 seconds.

So please forgive me for asking this question rather than searching for another hour or so...
I currently have my premium scheduled for production starting the week of 1/3/21 (after 2 other delays). When I check through the Ford site (My Reservations and Orders), it still says Scheduled for production... and I don't have a check mark for In Production. Ford Vehicle Order Tracking, Doesn't have the Scheduled for Prod checked yet, but says You order is being manufactured at one of our factories. This can take a few days. When you have a moment, tryout the link to your Window Sticker (which I have, and is available to view). The www.macheforum.com/site/pages/tracker site doesn't have a production date at all. Primary status does list it as In Production though.

So from those with experience past this point, when should I expect some update and which website will be the most accurate. I'm really tired of borrowing vehicles and would love to get confirmation that production is actually started. I don't really know if it's actually going to be produced this week or what. I'm hoping that I'm still in the queue and I'll get an actual update soon.

Someone also mentioned calling Ford and giving them my VIN/Dealer info to get an exact date, but didn't mention which number for Ford to call.

If some kind soul could help me out, I would appreciate it greatly.

Have you tried your dealer? They have a system that provides a detailed view.

I don't have much luck with getting my dealer to respond. It'll probably be here the next time I get anything from them.

Ford only makes available what they call "primary status" to end customers. Your car will be "in production" for a week or more. Then it will be inthe state of "built".

user the "tracking" tool above to get the best status anyone other than your dealer can give you.

There is not much you can d at this point other than reaching out to the dealer and see if the dealer can look into their systems and provide you secondary status.

Your premium is scheduled for the work week starting 1/4/21 (or 1/3/21 depending on the system you are looking at). Assuming its not already built - it will go through production this week. Based on dates seen with other orders, the it will likely take a week to ten days for the vehicle to be completely built. SO the end of next week, your Production date should (fingers crossed) be filled (in the VIN tracker not Ford online account) once some one updates the date at the plant. Then it is unknown how long it takes to get shipped and so on.

There is no one system that is available to us to track each step - the most detailed view is available with the dealers. The multiple systems we as buyers have access to may not show same information all the time. I kind of take the most optimistic info from each system and usually they will align at some point.

1. Get your VIN from your dealer
2. Use the tracker at the top of the Forum page
3. Get even more details from one of these folks who have volunteered to look it up.

The www.macheforum.com/site/pages/tracker site doesn't have a production date at all. Primary status does list it as In Production though.
Unless you get help from your dealer (or a forum member with access to the dealer's system), the best you are going to get is the tracker site listed above.
Your car has started production. Normally takes about 8-10 working days to run through start to end. When Produced.....you will se a date in the appropriate field.

When scheduled for shipping, your status will change to "Awaiting Shipment"
When shipped the status will change to "In Transit"

Hope this helps.

Since you have a scheduled build week, you can try to use this tool to get the VIN:
