A shame about the ugly cable connection stuck up below the screen. Would like to see a cleaner install option, or additional wiring kit, eg, route under console to another usb port.
I was hoping it would tie in where the factory wireless charger connects in to. That would be a good clean aftermarket install. Hopefully a company comes out with a wiring adapter to do that.

Ahh that sucks. Yeah mine shows Thursday, Jul 18–Friday, Jul 19 .

They probably have some sort of automated estimate for in stock items based on your location, etc but if an item is back ordered or they're behind they tack on a couple extra weeks. Boooo!
Actually got mine today. Can’t believe it and it works pretty good even with this leather case that has kind of a steel back on it. It’s not really MagSafe and it doesn’t pop up that circle on the phone when it starts to charge, but it shows it on the dash and it shows it on the phone that is charging, so it does slip a little. I just need to get a case but waiting cause I’m gonna upgrade my phone is September. Nice bag comes with?

The one thing I noticed once I installed this charging Mat, was because now you’re connected to the USB port and it’s not the mat that I had down there, you don’t get the battery indicator for your phone charging up on the top of big screen anymore. It’s only down on the bottom right of the big screen, let’s say in Apple play.

Ahh ok good to know!. I do use Carplay almost every time so as long as I can see the battery status and charging indicator there I'll be good.

Also I got a USPS surprise that it's out for deliver today!. Don't have to wait for Monday. Whoo hoo!

I agree it is slow to charge. I’ve read that Qi2 chargers are not limited to 7.5w like 3rd party MagSafe Qi, they can charge the full 15w power. Question is if/when they will update it with Qi2.
So I finally got a MagSafe case today for my iPhone 14 and it charges But I think I’m gonna have to charge it on the right side because I looked down at the phone and it was charging, and then then I got a message saying once the phone cools down, it will resume charging again, so I moved it over to the right side of the charger and it didn’t do that, but it did only charge about one percent in about 15 minutes. So I’m guessing it’s picking up something underneath the original charger that’s in the car so I may have to put something underneath there to block that like cloth or plastic or something so it doesn’t try to connect as well.

Did you take the original charging pad off?

I didn’t realize that plate comes out of there or not. Do we need to remove that?
I didn't take mine out. I don't think you can. That being said, I haven't had a problem with my phone overheating. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Same phone it’s just the first time that I’ve ever gotten that message and then again it’s the first time I’ve used this case, but I’ve never charged my phone using a MagSafe case. I’ve always just set the phone down on it.

I would put something underneath the charger to see if that helps as you suggested. I have a 2021 premium, I don't know if anything changed with the charger in the newer models. Good luck!

My phone gets warm sometimes on the TWRAPS, but not nearly as hot as using the built-in charger.

A piece of aluminum foil should block the magnetic field of the built-in charger, if you think that's a concern. I was thinking of trying that to see if it makes any difference.
