Ford says:

here's what happens at your 90,000 miles checkup
  • Inspect brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, brake linings, hoses and parking brake.
  • Inspect half-shaft boots.
  • Inspect steering linkage, ball joints, suspension, tie-rod ends, drive shaft and U-joints. Lubricate if equipped with grease fittings.
  • Inspect the wheels and related components for abnormal noise, wear, looseness or drag.
  • Inspect tires and check tire pressures.
  • Perform multi-point inspection.
  • Rotate the tires, inspect tire wear and measure tread depth.
  • Inspect cooling system level and strength

No. Car feels and drives fine. I do not see anything except "Inspect" in the service schedule

Ford says:
Exactly. I kinda feel like he's not being truthful or is misinformed (benefit of the doubt) but I don't think I'm up for an $1100 service fee at this time

OK, I did some digging and found where Ford recommends brake fluid change every 3yrs. I'm there now. I one pedal 100% of the time and don't notice anything off or soft feeling when I do use the pedal.

I may let them do that but he wants to replace dif fluid front and rear and I think I'll hold off on that

So what's the point to do anything to breaks

Ya, there are definitely recommended intervals for various fluids, so that's very possible.

You could always do the brakes now and consider the diff at 100K. Or DIY the diff. I haven't looked too far into it, but with how complex some of the modern brakes are (never mind all of the regen stuff with EVs), I'd probably let the dealer service that and do the diff myself. I'd expect that to be pretty straight forward like other vehicles. The hardest part with a diff fluid change is usually having the right kind of hand pump/hose setup or whatever to get the new fluid into the diff from under the car (at least on past vehicles I've done).

I don't really have a way to lift this car and support it safely so I'll let them do the Dif fluid later. Brakes can be tricky with the ABS modules.

Thanks for the info

Brake fluid absorbs water over time. Ford recommends 3yr interval. Had to dig into the owners manual to find it. No mention of the differential fluids tho

I thought the transaxle fluid was 100K but I didn’t see it on my VIN’s 100K service when I went to Ford’s web site. ?‍♂?

He is trained to be so.

Stated right in the manual for 3 years, yes, for brake fluid change.

So what's the point to do anything to breaks
brakes

OK, transmission fluid change at 150k. Is this different than the differential fluid? I would think so, but what the heck do I know
The car has a transaxle (or two in the case of an AWD), which is an integrated transmission and differential in one unit. Ford just calls it a “transmission.” The same fluid that lubricates and cools the transmission cools and lubricates the differential. ??
