I have a 2023 Premium ER AWD and last night I received Priority Update 23-pu1024-mcp-fx while it was in my home charger, and woke to find that my preferred charge time was disregarded and it charged all the way up to 100% (Vice 85% as I had set it) on its own and outside of preferred charging times.

I wonder if this fixes the 12V charging situation and charges it to 90% when plugged in.

I also had a Ford Power-Up Software Update on Dec 14th, 23-PUO22-DC-CHG3. It states that DC Fast Charging is important to me so they tweaked the module to improve reliability and performance. DC charging is the least important thing to me in my life, but my home charging is extremely important as this is the only car in our family. So I plugged in my garage EVSE yesterday to charge to my desired charge level of 85% and when I went to check a few hours later, I got the bad news of charged to 97%. Thinking that the update changed my settings, I double checked in the car and my previous settings were still showing.
I just wanted you to know that you're not alone, and thanks for posting so I know it's not just something I did.

Happy to see that this morning, everything was back to normal and it charged per my original settings. Looks like it was a “one off” issue that resolved after the update was applied.

Hi /u/fritzmt -- this exact same thing happened to me today! -- just wondering, did you have to reset your charge limits and home charging following this update? Or did the issue totally resolve on its own accord? Thank you!

This one seems to be going out to '23's now. Got it on my 23.5 GT this evening.

Same here/update just applied while plugged into my home charger tonight. Noticed I hadn't received the expected message that my target charge level for home had been reached (85%). Checked the app, and was at 97%. Trying to access the target charge setting in the app in case I had inadvertently moved the slider over, it shows a message that, "After your first AC charge session you can add a Target Charge for that location here." Seems to have no concept that it is in my garage and connected to my home charger, or any prior history. Odd...

Went out to the car to see if it was just the app. Unfortunately not. The screen for charge settings seems to be indicating the same - can't set a target charge. Location setting are on, and seems to know the car is at the right location.

Hopefully sorts itself out the next day or so as others have noted. Don't need to charge past my target, and definitely want it to limit charging to during the target windows I have defined (off-peak rates).

This is so annoying. My last update was 7/26 and still not working. I called the Ford EV line and they said it was a known issue and to wait.

Same thing for me. I got Priority Update 23-PU1024-MCP-FX on 7/29 and now I can't set charging locations or preferred times in either the app or from the car.

Hopefully there is a fix soon, right now all I can do is charge to 100% or babysit it, which means waking up at 2:00am to stop the charge.

So the answer was wait? Did they provide any sort of timeframe for resolution?

Same experience here, and it's beyond frustrating. Last round of updates blew away my home charger listed in the app so having same experiences you're having -- 100% is default, with the added twist that even if you plug in and then immediately manually stop charging via the app (so I could just start/stop when I want without having to go to garage), it again begins charging uncommanded sometime overnight. I had my charge window set 11pm-9a, so I'm guessing that data is still lurking in some cache somewhere, but again the charger and any ability to do anything other than start/stop manually is inoperative.

Never once in 9 months of ownership has any public charger ever shown up in the app after use, so that remains the same, but now my home charger is included in this error.

So far I've had the OTA updates: disable the driver facing camera module and Bluecruise twice, and twice mess with all my settings for speed limit tolerance, charge levels, and also disable remote non-bluetooth control of the car.

Ford's quality oversight of these software updates is just supremely awful.

Yes, and my issue is still not resolved. I similarly had the same issue where my car overrode my "stop charging" button in Fordpass and charged to 100% that /u/bailout911 had. I totally agree with you that there is a cache issue somewhere.

If I get a resolution I'll make sure to post in this thread but I guess all we can do right now is commiserate on how clunky this software experience has been.

Having the same exact issues after the update.

I had this issue and didn’t want to wait on a fix from Ford. Master Reset of Sync System fixed it. Just had to do a brief charge and then setup my charge location again. Also had to setup all my preferences again but it fixed it.
