I had this issue and didn’t want to wait on a fix from Ford. Master Reset of Sync System fixed it. Just had to do a brief charge and then setup my charge location again. Also had to setup all my preferences again but it fixed it.
Last night I tried @MachLee 's suggestion to disconnect the 12v for 10 minutes. No joy. I'll try the master reset tonight and post an update here.

Ok -- that sounds worth a shot. I'm ok waiting a week+ for some sort of fix it update but having no real target date is not acceptable. Will see how it goes. Thanks for this input.

I tried the 12v disconnect for 10 minutes and that similarly did not work. If I have any spare time today I am going to call the Ford OTA team -- I got their contact info from texting an EV specialist at Ford, I think it was from my dealer.

I just did a full factory reset of my head unit and it fixed the problem. Just need to reconnect my phone, redo all the profiles and settings etc. Basically makes it like a new car but the problem is fixed No need to disconnect the 12v or anything like that.

Did the reset affect subscriptions like navigation and blue cruise? The official Ford documentation says it could interrupt those for up to 10 business days?

Not sure. Don’t have a Bluecruise subscription and I never use the in car nav I only use carplay.

I'm considering doing the same. For the master reset option, what needs to be re-setup? Do I have to redo PAAK, driver profiles, seat memory, etc? -- or is it just re-pairing phones and setting up the profiles.

I have BlueCruse and Navigation subscriptions. Both reconnected within 10 mins of the reset.

The master reset makes it so you have to set everything up on the car just as it is when you drove it off the lot. Fortunately, Ford Pass remembers it so it just reconnected and all I had to do from that front was reset-up PAAK.

Just confirmed that a factory reset fixed the issue for me as well, and no issues with Navigation or Blue Cruise subscriptions after setting everything back up.

This seems to be the fix.

I had this issue and it corrected itself in Fordpass on its own. Basically my home location and preferred charge times eventually blanked out and I was able to reset them in the app. I didn't disconnect 12V.

Its definitely this update that causes it, but based on my experience you don't need to do anything special. It may be that I am in the minority.

I don't want to be too optimistic but it looks like this update may have fixed the car continues to charge after the charge limit is reached issue from TSB: 24-2141 as well. For the first time ever my car switched off properly after hitting the charge target and my Tesla wall connector switched from eternal green charging lights to the blue stand by light just as it should.

I tried a factory reset. After the 2nd or 3rd time stopping/starting the vehicle, and a few home charger plug/unplug iterations, at some point the ability to edit settings for a charger location came back in the vehicle! FordPass app reflected it a minute or so afterwards too.

Not an ideal solution, but I am back up and charging normally so far.

Same, it took a little fiddling but eventually worked fine. My home location disappeared and I was able to re-add it.

OK boys — been fiddling with this.

I ended up doing a hard reset of the whole car in Ford sync. This fixed the charging issue as others have reported.

Following that I needed to reconnect phones, redo some settings (disable rear passenger alert, seat memory, departure schedules, etc.). Things were all going smoothly until I got to PAAK which would not connect. Kept getting Error 97. Ended up calling the Ford EV line.

To fix — you need to reset phone as a key in the vehicle which can be done in Ford sync, then logout/uninstall FordPass from your phone. Then you can reinstall the app and go through the PAAK process in FordPass. Make sure you do it in a location with good cellular service, and it also helps to have your phone connected to your car via Bluetooth (not CarPlay) during setup.

Super annoying afternoon but I think I have everything working again. I think for now I’m going to disable updates. I really don’t want to go through this again. I just want my car to work and not have to mess around with crap like this.

If I can help anyone just reply to this post or DM me.
