Can’t pair my charging station

My charging station is plugged into my dryer outlet via adapter. It works perfectly. But, it won’t pair to the app. It actually looks different than than one in the diagram but it came with my car. Any help is appreciated.

Because that has zero WiFi capability. It is a "dumb" charger. You plug in an charge. All charging is controlled by the vehicle / FordPass.

My app won’t control the charger since I can’t pair the charger to app via my iPhone.
But, it does charge perfectly well. I just can’t set a timer to stop the charge at 80% as recommended. That option is not available on my Ford app as far as I could tell. Have to plan start time better.

Incorrect.

Once you have charged at a level 2 charger, like at home, you can now SAVE the location (do it in the car), and then set times and limits. There is no pairing involved.
