Rentals during recall service -- what loaner / rental did you get?

I’m currently running around in a 2014 Chrysler 200 with 100k miles dealership loaner. They gave it to me with the gas light on and trash in the car. I’ve had it for 23 days now, it’s been swell.

Sorry you had to deal with all of that, but your price is great. I got a Bronco Sport for a loaner when they did my HVBJB.

The price is why I can't be too mad haha. We had a choice between this corolla and a kia soul so there wasn't much we could do haha

Oh you would think ahahahaha. Only 12 weeks mat leave so she is trying to hold out for as long as possible to be able to spend as much time with baby after birth.

Loaner? I got to drive a 1972 Blazer with its driver’s side door, left front fender, and left rocker panel caved in when my HVBJB blew up. At least I got to shift it myself. ??

We had to bring our '22 GTPE 2x since we got caught the first time w a stop work order just as they pulled it in to get the recalls done w the big one being the HVJB update.

Our dealer has been fantastic. Both times we got a brand new '24 Explorer as a loaner.

I asked if they had any MMEs in the loaner pool and they "No since it becomes more trouble than what it's worth unless the customer already has an EV since they don't know what to do about charging."

The first drop off, we had the loaner about 5 days as they were delayed getting our in the shop ahead of another MME which he said their 1 EV tech had a challenge getting the sw updated. 2nd time, they had the car about 4 days.

I was pleasantly surprised to get an offer in the mail from Ford a month ago saying "we want to thank you for your business and patience during your service work on the MME. As a token of appreciation, here is an offer code to select a gift card or we can send you a check for $50 towards the gas you consumed w your rental during the repair."

To be honest, while it would have been nice to have the loaner be another MME, I never have an issue when they give us a comparable or better loaner. They can take their time ob the repairs since I am putting mileage on their vehicle, not mine!!! ?

A nice gesture they gave us the $50 gc or cash option. I chose a check which is literally got within a week of submission.

I've been in my poverty corolla loaner for over 5 weeks now while my MME has been in the shop. Ford offered $200 in gas credit - which would be about half of what I've paid. I initiated a buy back so we will see what happens next. I'm saddened but I travel desolate roads by myself and am terrified of this breaking down somewhere and leaving me stranded far away.

I've had the need for loaners twice since buying my car. Last year they gave me a 2023 MME GT and earlier this year a 2024 Ford F150 XLT. Both had a few hundred miles on the odometer.

I've been dealing with a Door Ajar and Door fault, service required issues since mid March of this year. 2nd attempt in June they had my car for a week and had a 2023 Escape. The third attempt i dropped off car on July 1st and they had my car until Aug 22nd. They gave me a Maverick - Lariat Trim. I really liked this little truck. Would strongly consider getting an AWD Hybrid 2025 model next year if things don't work with my Mach-E
Dropped it off again yesterday for a 4th repair attempt and got the same Maverick I had for July and August.

Not on a recall or anything, but I have a front camera fault that the dealer says will take “several days.” No loaners available, so either I rent or I drive 9 mpg. Trying to find out how long “several days” is so I can make the call on which I am going to do. ?‍?
