So I am confused as I received the update today but I believe I already have 1.3. Have a 2023 Premium LR AWD. No idea what build.
Check your build date. Is it a 2023 Job 1 or Job 2? If Job 2, it was delivered with BC 1.3. Job 1s were delivered with BC 1.2.

If you ran it, it's probably in your copy of Ford Pass.
Thanks. It’s gets even more convoluted. It say the update applies to cars shipped with 1.2. I believe I am a build 2 and had 1.3. I am out for a few days so I can’t dig deeper until I return and then try BC again. In any case just happy the updates are flowing. Appreciate the responses and advice.

Is the rollout still happening or does it appear to be on hold? I haven't seen many posts recently on 1.3. There were a bunch at first and it seemed to slow down about the time the lockouts started.

I know 2021s are never first, but if the newer models aren't getting it what chance do I have?

I've seen a few reports that this is rolling out to 23's now, so maybe us 21's will get it next month?

I got it in my 23 and got a chance to try it today. I live off of I5 in CA and there are regular stretches in Sacramento where I'd have to take control under 1.2. I just tried today with 1.3 and it stayed hands free the entire ride. Very impressed. A noteworthy improvement.

For the locals, I went from Laguna to West El Camino hands free the entire way.

What's the pre-requisite for BC 1.3?
After a year of no updates, I've been receiving them in a nice sequence. I'm now at 6.4.0 and wondering what did you need to have to receive BC1.3. Only after 6.14.0?

My 23’ GT built 6/2023 came with BC 1.2 and 3 years of service included. I received the 1.3 update last night. I thought 1.2 was pretty decent, so curious to see the difference.

BC 1.3 came through last night for me as well and installed successfully overnight. Here are my last 3 updates:

10/1 - Software update 6.14 (not completed)
10/4 - 24-PU0105-CMR-FX
10/8 - BC 1.3

Hi Mustang Mach-E Owners –

We know if you are a 2021-2023 Mustang Mach-E owner, who has a vehicle equipped with BlueCruise, you are eagerly awaiting the delivery of BlueCruise 1.3 to your vehicle. Our goal is to deliver customers quality products and services, and BlueCruise for hands-free highway driving is no exception.

Previously, we shared we were starting to roll out the software package to enable BlueCruise 1.3. This software update is complex. As we shared previously, it is a large package that requires several sequential updates to multiple system modules within the vehicle, and as a result takes multiple updates to successfully deliver the package. We made the decision to pause the rollout to meet the level of quality we strive for so that customers have the best experience possible with the newest version of BlueCruise.

Now, we are pleased to share that the final update to enable BlueCruise 1.3 is starting to roll out to customers starting with model year 2022 Mustang Mach-E. This will be a staggered rollout by model year. We will have more to share once deployment starts for additional model years.

Please be on the lookout for the software update labeled as: IPMA-24.204.8.27.

BlueCruise 1.3 is our latest version of software available to customers and helps you stay engaged in hands-free mode longer, including around curves and narrow lanes. It also builds on BlueCruise 1.2 which includes Lane Change Assist allowing you to change lanes by tapping the turn signal and once the path is clear and In-Lane Repositioning which helps keep the vehicle in its lane while subtly shifting position away from vehicles in adjacent lanes.

We want to thank you again for your patience. We can’t wait for you to experience these features and improved hands-free highway driving performance on your vehicle!
Hi @Ford Motor Company,
It’s been three months since you posted this update with no further movement on 2021 cars.

Can you share any additional information about what’s going on or what to expect going forward?

@Ford Motor Company has abandon the 2021 Mach-E. Those of us early adopters now know are value to Ford. Nothing.
