I’ve a 2021 model aWD Premium. How secure are the fobs? Do we need faraday cages for them to stop thieves scanning for access codes? I know older ICE Fiestas had this issue.

You're in the UK, so you have a different fob than the rest of the world. Yours goes to sleep after a period of inactivity. I would think that would be secure enough.

As already posted the UK Mach E key goes to sleep after I believe 40 seconds of inactivity.
Having owned a fair few desirable cars some of which I wouldn’t have owned if I hadn’t a garage, I can honestly say parking the Mach E on the drive doesn’t concern me as I’ve yet to see or read they are going walkabout on a regular basis.
Some of the motors I’ve owned were getting stolen bi-weekly on a forum I was a member of, shocking stuff, breaking in for the keys, aggravated theft all sorts.

I still use a farady pouch for complete peace of mind and put my key in the pouch as soon as I've got out the car and locked it. I'd rather be paranoid for a few £££'s rather than take the chance.

Can’t fault anyone for being security conscious. I’ve got a DiscLok I used on my other cars along with ghost systems in tandem, talk about paranoid!
One thing I would add is that certain soft faraday pouches, ones on Amazon over time can stop shielding the key, not sure why this happens, maybe bending the soft pouch in some way degrades the material, who knows but I would check it every once in a while by walking up to the car and seeing what happens

Yes, good point about wear as this has caught me out in the past. Plus usually there is 2 compartments in the pouches I've used and it's easy to put the key in the unshielded one. Why they can't both be shielded is a mystery. (Cost?)
