Just read the article and came right here to see if anyone posted a link. Sounds like a blast to drive!

This sounds like an amazing car! But, am I the only one who thinks the wheels are hideous? I absolutely love the wheels on my '21 GTPE and wouldn't trade them for anything. I'm also not a fan of the grille-mounted fog lights, but I understand they are appropriate for it being a rally car. (And no offense meant to Justin in the other thread with his nice new wheels :) )

You are not alone.

But I’m glad the car exists and there actually seems to be a market for it.

Also glad that we finally get some good press without a disclaimer.**

**The car is awesome but…….. Basically every 2021-2023 GT review.

Agreed. I'm not a fan of the Rally's wheels, fog light location, big spoiler or the large door decals.

I suppose Ford had to make it look different than the regular GT, but it all looks like tacky aftermarket stuff.

I couldn't ever see myself taking my Mach-E off-road so my pick would be the standard GT with the performance upgrade.

What I find interesting is that the new rear motor (in-house design based on the Lightning's motor) is supposed to have more torque and the Rally comes from the plant with the performance package software baked in (you don't have to order it separately to get the boost).

I haven't read the story, so are they saying it's as fast as a '24 GT with the performance software? I would hope so since it's the same hardware and software in the drivetrain.

Or is it as fast as the '23 GTs?

I posted the 0-60 and 1/4 mile in the first post. It’s as fast as a 2024, definitely faster than a 23.

I drive a GT PE daily and drove a Rally at a recent Ford Owner's event.

What I noticed right away was how much smoother the Rally suspension felt on in-city driving. No idea how much of that is from the taller sidewalls versus suspension tuning, but it felt like a much softer ride.

This is the only reason why I would consider the Rally over the standard GT - the reworked suspension with improved ride quality.

My ideal Mach-E would be the GT with the Rally's suspension setup.

Dang, the GT-PE is already too mushy. I guess an off-road style car needs to be more compliant, but I want stiffer settings and less vagueness. I mean, I could maybe get talked into a Rally for duck hunting trips, but the lower efficiency from the ride height and tires could maybe be an issue. The Rally certainly doesn’t handle as well as a GT, given the numbers in that article. ?‍♂?
