"Charging paused to protect battery"

As the title says, I was wondering what this message may mean. I have a 2021 Mustang Mach E GT and I'm using the Ford Mobile charger at the slower 120v charge rate.

I have charged it with this same mobile charger before without any issues and it's the first time I've come across this message. The message popped up on my notifications on my phone and went away after reading it and I can't seem to get it on my Ford pass again, nothing comes up actually.

I've tried to see if any one else has had that message and can't seem to find anything. The message, from memory, was "Charging paused to protect battery" would anybody know what this could be in reference to? Could it be an indication of a larger issue?

Sounds like a glitch in communication with the app. Did you try unplugging and re-plugging? Level one charge and shouldn’t be really generating any heat to speak of. I personally have not ever seen that notification.

That's what I'm thinking, I'll try the "on and off" trick and see what happens.

Silly question: are you sure this was related to your MME? The only time I've seen a similar message it has been my phone battery that is giving the warning, particularly when wirelessly charging on a hot day.

I received a similar message. I got an alert that the LA Chargers are off this week. Can one not charge their MME in LA this week?
