I got that one back in March. Looking forward to seeing 21s getting some of the newer updates.
My own car got this some time ago as well, It has received others and the numbered one through 6.14 nothing since late May though. I’m just a bit hopeful that with some updates rolling out, although a bit late (understatement), that it means 21s will start receiving some updates again.

The nature of Dealer/Factory relations (largely created by legislation ;<) makes such things difficult. We had an unrelated (non-sw issue) that wound up taking several months and many iterations between Factory and our local Dealer. At one point I was quoted a repair cost of over $1K, my factory rep was able to commit to covering the bulk of it, but when the dealer actually did the work, they realized it really was easy and didn't require all the parts they ordered, and gave it back to me with no charge (they probably did get something from the factory, but that's conjecture on my part).

That said, we hardly ever use BC. Partially because we aren't doing a lot of road tripping, and partly because mapping errors early on resulted in some gratitious excitement (70mph road, mislabeled as 35mph ... ) and having spent a lifetime in sw development, I'm not overly keen on turning things over to a computer, if I have to be ready to jump in at any moment ... that's just a recipe for disaster .. if I'm not engaged in driving, I really can't take over in a fraction of second (nor can most other people :>).

My 21 GT had a bluecruise update applied, the only problem is the GT is not capable of blue cruise. I guess it does patch related things like adaptive cruise control.

Huh? First time I'm hearing of this. Can someone that owns one confirm this if straight BS?

Message me the VIN. Based on your join date and the fact that you have a 2021, I'm pretty sure I know what the issue is. Either your IPC in on an old version because the newer IPC update that includes the animations for BC was never released on the server for your car, or the config in the IPMA is wrong which is preventing your BC from working......or both. Both of these issues are fixable. If it is just config, you can fix your BC in minutes with FORScan. If you are missing the IPC update, that requires a bit of an unconventional fix, bit it can be fixed.

Also Have 2021 MME , GT version. Did not pay for extending BlueCruise because there will be no upgrades on the 2021 MME's. Stuck with BC 1.0. Ford originally said all 2021+ MME;s would eventually be upgraded to 1.3 but now Ford is saying only 2022 or later. Ford lied. BC 1.0 has some kind of useful features, I guess but I refuse to pay for software upgrades that were promised and should be free. I love my car but pissed at Ford for not being honest about BC

It does not have co-pilot active, just co-pilot assist. There are no eye-nannys on the steering wheel. Therefore it is not blue-cruise capable. My original First Edition was blue-cruise capable.

IIRC, the BlueCruise tech package on the earlier GTs was bundled with the glass roof. If you ordered with the metal roof, no tech package and no BC.

To be clear... you paid $600 for whatever software was on your car at that moment. Unless the $600 purchase receipt says you're specifically paying for a different version that you had, you didn't pay for any 1.3 features, "coming soon" or otherwise.

@ack154 Ford did not say you only get what you get when you buy the car. All models are supposed to get continual updates both blue cruise and normal updates. Check you math cuz your wrong. Job 1 models clearly have OTA issues on all updates and are falling behind

Just turn off speed limit sign recognition. BC mostly only works on roads that don’t have drastic changes/people following the speed limit anyway, much smoother to just set the speed you want.

You would think Ford would word the release notes differently for non-BC equipped cars.

Let's reach a little lower: You would think Ford would provide useful release notes.

It has a glass roof and no blue cruise. I picked up a cancellation. It was one of the first GTs delivered in 8/21. VIN ends in 00745, so an early GT.

Interesting. I recall you had an early GT but didn’t realize it was without the BC/Sunroof package. So evidently, back in the day, getting BC required a sunroof option but getting a sunroof didn’t require BC. Odd.
