So has mine, 103,000 miles a daily driver.

mine does virtually everything 100% and what very little’s left 99.999999%

Love this car!
I haven’t even driven an ICE car in like 9 months ever since getting my Mach E.

Had to take wifey’s to fill up, only time I drive it twice a year, she don’t go far!!

Was a quaint experience, reminded me of the old days when dinosaurs drove the Earth ?

I had to fill up the gas tank in my other car which I hadn't done in over 6 months and I thought to myself, wow this really sucks. 10 seconds per day of only plugging in is so superior, not to mention no more oil changes, brake jobs, etc. No, I'll never go back.

Funny, when I first test drove the MME, I told the sales guy sitting next to me, "where's the clutch?"
Reminds me of when my dad went to test drive a used car and asked the sales guy how to drive it. He had never driven an automatic up to then. This was in the early 70s.

I'm certainly not going back to a ICE car, however, I'm not ready to give up our family's ICE SUV. I'm hoping for some improvements in battery technology that can get a mid sized SUV closer to 400 miles range and hopefully have some faster DC fast charging times with better cold weather performance. Would also be nice to see better infrastructure for fast charging.

Until those things happen I'm not ready to go electric with both our vehicles.
Sounds like you want a lucid Gravity. Up to 450 mile range and faster charging.

450 miles? Your family has amazing bladder control.

How does an EV avoid brake jobs? ?

I've been driving something with a plug since 2013 (yup 10+ years). Love them.

Yeah there are a couple of PHEV's in there (including the most recent but I have a valid reason).

While I love the convenience of a BEV for a daily driver and it’s a lot of fun to drive, I would certainly buy the car in my avatar if I hit it rich. I would also buy any number of Pontiacs if the right deal came along on a Ram Air II, IV, SD421, 400 Ram Air, 455 HO, or SD455 car. I’d even consider a Hurst/Olds or a Stage II Buick if the right deal came along. ??.

Regenerative braking for the most part.
You still have an ICE common hydraulic brake system that will need regular service. You may go a little longer between pad replacement, pending driving style, but that's about it.

Funny, when I first test drove the MME, I told the sales guy sitting next to me, "where's the clutch?"
I didn’t do that, but I reached for a shifter stick on my first test drive (with my left foot planted on the floor). ??

Agreed! I had so many manuals, at least two Toyotas, a Jeep Cherokee, Mazda Miata and two RX7's ,(loved to rev the rotary engine!), Subaru outback, a 5.0 'stang GT, probably more. I haven't had a sports car in a while, but the MME had me immediately looking for the clutch and shifter!

LOL all of my other cars are manual tranny. Blazer with a teeny little V8 and a big 1 ton tranny/transfer case setup, T/A with a moderately sized engine and a Richmond Gear 4+1. ??

Interesting note on the rotary, Wankel sold the rights to Pontiac way back when and Pontiac’s engine guys did a lot of development on it before surrendering the rights. Too bad they couldn’t come up with a compact car to put it in. Mazda did a great job putting the finishing touches on it and building cars around it. ?‍♂?
