I’m a brand new Mach e owner. Haven’t even had it for a week and I’m unable to get the PAAK set up. Every time I try I get an error message saying “Unable to Connect Try again Later” I’ve spent over an hour with FordPass rep on phone and they cannot figure it out. We’ve deleted/reset accounts etc. Tried all the tricks they know and now are “Escalating” it.
I’m on a iPhone 16 and latest iOS.
Anyone else had or having this problem?

Have you paired your phone with the car? Through Bluetooth? If so I would reinstall the Ford PASS app.

Yes about 100x
I can try to delete and reinstall the FordPass app again but seems futile at this point.

I have Android but I've had good luck by going into the FP app on vehicle page/settings/phone as a key and delete the key. Restart the phone and set up the key again while the fob is with you in the car.

But there’s no key to delete in the app. I can never create one.
it’s a shit show.
Ford is clueless too.

The phone as key deleting option is in the car under general you can Google it to find it i don't remember exactly where it is. Since the latest updates the phone as key started messing up so I restarted it and never redid it. I myself am having issues with that and the android auto. I'm taking my car in the shop because I shouldn't have to reset the car every time I want to use my phone as the key. It's the cars issue not the phone. Don't let the Fordpass associate tell you other wise. Take the car into the shop and see if the car doesn't need a system update.

I had the same problem with my 2024. I rebooted my phone, did a PaaK reset on the car’s center screen, then it paired like a champ. This was 2 weeks ago when I got the car. No issues with PaaK since. ??

As a new owner you should go to Ford.com and set up an account using your VIN. In the car set up your home WiFi if available .

Rebooting phones solves many connection problems. If a phone stays on for several weeks wifi, bluetooth and even cellulair connection problems can occur. I see this a LOT at work?

Yep. In my case though a simple reboot did not do anything. Neither did a simple PaaK reset. Resetting both fixed my issue. ??

Yes I was on phone with agent of FordPass and we tried everything short of a factory reset. When they told me to take the cover off my phone which I don’t have, I knew they were clueless
