Fordpass / PAAK problems - First charging/departure now PAAK

First my fordpass app wasn't saving my departure or charging times just blue circle working for a minute or so then right back to the screen asking to save it but it would not save it... So I called Ford pass, the person asked to check what version I had, then asked me to uninstall and reinstall it... Now I can't get PAAK to work even though it gives me a notification that it's enabled while at the same time giving me an error 7... Is this the same thing I've read where Android 14 people can't get PAAK to work? I've had Android 14 the whole time on this phone and it was working fine until this

Motorola G Power 5g
and tonight it just updated to Android 15

It's my understanding that the PAAK issue is limited to Samsung phones. Is your car connected to wifi with a good signal?

Yes, and I had no problems with using PAAK until the lady at Fordpass 800 number help line had me uninstall and reinstall Fordpass

Does your key show as active in FP at vehicle/settings/phone as a key? If so I've always had luck by deleting the key there and setting it up again inside your car with the fob present.

I did that several times, however I restarted my phone after updating Android, deleted my phone in Ford pass deleted the app, restarted my phone again, downloaded the app again, restarted my phone again, then went out and tried to add it 3 more times... The final time I think it worked? I no longer see the button at the top to make this phone as a key .... Nevermind, it still didn't work

Error 7 means that you have a key on the vehicle still that needs to be removed before you can setup a new key. If you go to your key list, delete your previous key and wait for the email confirmation that the key was removed. Then try to re-setup.

I noticed it added a 2 after my phone , but I've deleted it on my end and in the car

Can you share a screenshot of your keys list? If you deleted your previous key and still get the error 7, your car may be unable to connect to the cellular network. I would try to move your vehicle to the driveway where the signal should be unobstructed. You could always PaaK reset to resolve this issue, but that will delete all keys.
