Bought used 2022 GTPE 2 day ago, Says I have blue cruise for 3 years in app?

I never paid, or started any subscription it was just a notification I received in the ford app, it is on the window sticker but it should be expiring this year and not giving me 3 years I would of assumed, any idea what's going on?

I did get on a road that it was available and the message did show up but I did not use it.

It’s not transferable to a different car from what I understand. Can’t get refund either so I say just enjoy it.

I have no payment method, also barely on those roads

Look at your Connected Services page on the website to see if the information there also says you have three years of BlueCruise. If so, enjoy!

BlueCruise is tied to the VIN and it probably does have BC for 3 years as I believe all the '22s included it for 3 years. The catch is that it should be 3 years from when the car was originally purchased and BC activated. The connected services page in the FordPass app will tell you when it expires.

If I start on the .ca website (I'm in Canada) and once I click connected services it says I am already registered in a different country, then I go on .com and it asks for a USA address, and it will not show me any services.


I can see wallet & transactions on both .ca & .com and they are empty

Do this in the FordPass app as that may work better. You might also be in temporary limbo if the car was previously owned and registered in the US and now you've re-registered in Canada.

Same thing asking me for a US address in the app, it was a Canadian registered car before me.


I think my account might be messed up from early pre-order of a lightning, only thing coming to mind. (Never bought it though they randomly added options I didn't ask for, would of cost $95K after tax for an XLT)

yup, my pre-owned/used 2023 GT PE was purchased in 2024 with 3 yrs of blue cruise (a $2100 option) so i have it in ford pass/connected services showing good until 2027.

was unable to transfer the remaining 2 years of blue cruise subscription on my 2021 premium to the new car (or get refunded).

Weird so it sounds like a bug in the software is resetting the length of active 3 year blue cruise subscriptions when ownership is changed

Bought a used 23 GTPE and my BC only has 14 months left, I’m guessing the previous owner did not start the BC service that’s why it’s showing the full amount.
