I finally just got BlueCruise 1.3 in my 2021 Mach-E. There's a new detail on the display - to either side of the car icon, there are angle brackets ("<" and ">").

What do these represent?

What you will notice is when you are active on BC and get near a large truck (semi) it will scooch you in the lane away from the truck. I believe that is what the side arrows are indicating. I'm also a 2021 whom received BC 1.3 2 weeks ago.
No thats wrong. The arrows say the lane change assist is available. Tap your indicator for the car to check and change lanes

I'm glad to hear that BC1.3 is still rolling out to 2021 owners. I'm still waiting--haven't had an over-the-air update since June/July.
