PAAK with my Samsung Galaxy phone no longer working

I have a Samsung Galaxy s22 with the Android 14 operating system. It previously worked as phone as a key, but now does not. I removed it and reconnected it, but to no avail. I know this was a recent issue, but I thought Ford had corrected it. Any advice would be appreciated.

Samsung broke PAAK with a mid December Security update. There are several threads on this atm. If you try a forum search with S22, or security update, or something similar and you might find the right thread.

In any event, Ford is aware of the issue but it’s not something they can unilaterally fix. Carry your fob in the meantime.

I’m on an iPhone so I can’t give much more info than that. Good luck.

UPDATE - Samsung S22 with Android 14 updated overnight - PAAK working again!!!! And so are the Fordpass remote controls! YIPPEEEEE!!!!

PAAK is working on my S23+ but I can no longer enable Plug and Charge. When I try to move the toggle to turn it on, there is a spinning circle for a couple of seconds but it won't turn P&C on.
I haven't traveled far for a while and haven't used a DCFC for a while but I may do so in a couple of weeks and would like to know if it will work. BOCN has a good credit card and is active.
Does anybody else have this issue with P&C?

As stated above, the January Security update fixed the PAAK problem, so be on the lookout for it. (I am on Verizon and it came yesterday afternoon.)

Are you able to disable Plug and Charge in Fordpass and then enable it?

That is unrelated to PAAK, but YES, I have done that myself.

Yes, I allowed the update on my 24+

I received the update a few days ago. And with the latest updates from Ford and this update from Samsung, my PAAK is working better than it ever has. I haven't had to press buttons to enter the car several times, I haven't received any "Key not present" messages. I've been putting it through the paces and have seen a vast improvement over what PAAK was before. You should be good to go.

Oh and FordPass on my watch is working great now as well.
