I thought the refresh was going to be in 2026? In any case, that’s disappointing regardless, since Ford said that NACS ports were coming in 2025.

The quote about the refresh I read said “late 2026,” which would be the 2027 model. I don’t recall Ford saying that the MME would get the Tesla charge port before the refresh, just that starting 2025 some models would get it. Lots of non-specific and intentionally confusing language was used around these subjects. ?‍?

Summer Tires ARE still an option on the 2025 Mustang Mach-E GT, they are just not currently being displayed on the Build & Price. Working on getting that corrected.

Jim, while not explicitly stated by Ford, it was understood that the change is too significant to include in a model year change and that new vehicles released by 2025 (which turned out to be none) will have nacs.

The Public Charging app can be used to find Tesla Superchargers and send them to Connected Navigation (and pay for charging at any in-network charger when you get there). Google Maps EV Routing for Android Auto (requires Software Update 10.1.0 on the vehicle) can also be used. Apple Maps EV Routing for Apple CarPlay has not yet been updated by Apple to include Superchargers.

Yes. ford bumped the price of the Ford Mobile Charger (FMC) by $100 and included the Tesla adapter with it. Personally, I wouldn’t buy it since the FMC is known to be problematic. ??

The Ford Fast Charging Adapter can also be purchased separately if you're not interested in the bundle at https://go.ford/fordadapter (you'll even be able to redeem FordPass Rewards points for it).

Yeah. No telling how long a buyer will be waiting for that since they still have a lot of the backordered free adapters to fulfill. Hopefully now that Ford has multiple sources the wait times are shortened significantly. ??

My guess is that the option for the Summers got pulled from the 2025 model after Ford’s guide text was finalized and went to print. Yes, Ford’s Marketing should have revised that claim, but the left hand at Ford doesn’t know what its pinky finger is doing. ?‍?
